I’m Samantha Smith, Director of Solid Safety Ltd. After more than 15 years working as a Site Manager in commercial construction, I know how tough it can be to juggle the demands of getting the job done while keeping everyone safe. I’ve seen first-hand how safety systems can either be a help or just another bit of paperwork.

I hold a degree in Construction Project Management, the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, and I am a qualified Lead Auditor in Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001). I am also a member of the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management (NZISM) and committed to continuous professional development to ensure my knowledge stays current and aligned with industry best practice.

More importantly, I genuinely care about people going home safe to their families. I keep things practical, simple, and straight to the point, because safety should work for you on site — not against you.
